CALON is a senior, independent infrastructure advisory practice. We advise the organisations that commission infrastructure, never the contractors who build it. We sit on one side of the table only, the client side, and will not take work that places us in a delivery supply chain.
The practice is built around chartered, director-level professionals with decades of experience leading and assuring major projects and capital programmes across the public sector, energy, water and transport. Our work spans the front end of a programme or major project, from business case through procurement, and the running of delivery, from gateway assurance through to recovery advisory.
We work remotely and on a fixed-fee basis. The scope and the price are agreed in writing before any work begins, and the output is a written report delivered to a defined timetable. We do not bill by the hour, and we do not run open-ended retainers.
