Environmental & carbon reduction policy

Calon Infrastructure Limited is committed to minimising the environmental impact of its operations and to supporting the transition to net zero.

Our footprint

As an advisory practice, our direct environmental impact is low. Our work is office- or remote-based, and our principal impacts arise from travel, energy use and digital services.

Our commitments

• Work digitally by default, minimising printing and waste.
• Reduce travel through remote working and combined journeys, favouring public transport where practical.
• Choose suppliers and services with credible environmental credentials where we can.
• Support our clients in delivering lower-carbon, more sustainable infrastructure outcomes through the advice we provide.

Carbon reduction

We are committed to working towards net zero in our own operations. Where a specific contract requires it, we will produce a full Carbon Reduction Plan in line with the relevant procurement requirements (such as PPN 06/21), including a measured emissions baseline and reduction targets.
