In detail

What happens at each step.

STEP 01 Diagnostic or direct contact.

You either complete the free diagnostic on the website, or you contact CALON directly with a short description of the programme and what you would like to discuss. We respond within one working day with the next sensible step.

STEP 02 Fixed-fee proposal.

Within two working days of the first conversation, CALON sends a written proposal: scope, deliverables, timetable, and fixed fee. If the proposal needs refining, we refine it. Nothing proceeds until the scope and fee are agreed in writing.

STEP 03 NDA and document request.

A short, solicitor-reviewed NDA is signed by both parties. CALON sends a document request list naming the specific documents required for the engagement. You submit the documents by secure email or file transfer.

STEP 04 Remote desktop review.

CALON assesses the documents against the relevant CALON framework. Where evidence is missing, the gap is recorded as a finding rather than chased. The assessment is calibrated and tested against the brief before the report is drafted.

STEP 05 Report and invoice.

You receive a written report: the rating, the recommendation, the prioritised action list, and the evidence basis. The invoice is issued the same day. Thirty-day payment terms, fixed fee as agreed.

STEP 06 Condition clearance.

Where the recommendation was proceed with conditions, you act on the actions. When you confirm them complete, CALON reviews the updated evidence and confirms clearance in writing. No additional charge.

What you can expect

The practical answers.

Turnaround

Written report within ten working days of receiving the documents. Faster where the engagement is smaller, agreed upfront where the engagement is larger.

Output

A written report with a clear rating, a recommendation, and a prioritised action list. Defensible to external scrutiny.

After delivery

Reasonable follow-up questions on the report are answered by email at no additional charge. Substantive new work is scoped to a new fixed fee.

Not included

We do not deliver, design, build, or run the programme. Where conditions need acting on, that work is for you or your delivery partners.
